Whitney Cathey was born and raised in the Cedar Creek Lake area and has loved serving the community as a trusted Realtor for the past 8 years. She was also the second highest producing agent at her previous brokerage in 2017.



It was destiny that Whitney quickly became a respected member in her field. From being captain of the cheer squad at Mabank High to working two jobs to put herself through college, Whitney has shown the leadership and commitment to being the best at whatever she is doing. Her love of finding people the right place to live started years ago. While in college, Whitney had an integral role in assisting students to find the appropriate housing while working for the Living and Learning office at Tarleton State University.

When my "Army Brat" and college years took me away from San Antonio, I couldn't wait to get back to the city I know and appreciate more than any other. But simply living in San Antonio wasn't enough when I finally returned for good. My love for my hometown motivated me to try to give back to this exceptional city by working as a non-profit fundraiser and manager for over twenty years. Those years giving back to the city and community I love helped me further understand all of the beautiful nuances, nooks and crannies of this incredibly unique and diverse city in ways I hope to share with all willing clients! I believe everyone should be able to have a home to call their own, and that it's one of the most important investment decisions you will ever make. But the process of buying or selling a home can be fun and frustrating, exciting and intimidating, illuminating and confusing – all at the same time! I'm a proud native Texan and moved back to Tyler in 2010. In 2014 I completed my Associates Degree in Business Management from Tyler Junior College and earned my real estate license. I joined Keller Williams Realty in 2015 for their education classes and open door policy with agents.In life, you need either Inspiration or Desperation to motivate you.
